API Access
We would like to have access to an API in order to add more integrations with our companies internal tools and have the ability to pull project data directly into Power BI and our databases.

Hello Everyone,
For current information regarding the API please visit https://developer.revizto.com/
The process to connect to our API is outlined here: https://developer.revizto.com/docs/v5/kesbp2mz5c0yl-user-authentication
Our API will continue to evolve over the coming years to include more functionality and our API documentation will be updated as it becomes available.

Hey Jose,
What David means here is Revizto integration with Power BI. Our team is already working on that.
Open API is a very broad concept. We surely have it in plans for future development but at this point, we cannot tell what exactly and when will be implemented.
We'd greatly appreciate it if you give us more details on what are you looking for regarding API access. How do you want to use it? What kind of data do you want to pass to and from Revizto?
You can describe your ideas in the comments here or email us at vdc@revizto.com if you don't want to share them publicly.
Thank you!

We would like the ability to create and edit Issues from some internally developed applications as well as to be able to pull the issue tracker data directly into our database in order to track things like the amount of time a tag has changed, date changes, assignee changes, etc. basically the more information that we can get our hands on the happier that we will be.

Tagging onto this, I would like to see the ability to create plugins in Revizto that can have a launch button on the top bar, open a custom pane, and at a minimum:
- View and Manipulate current selection
- Focus on selection
- Manipulate camera,
- Change sectioning
- Change appearance profile
- Change transparency of items
- Create custom properties on items
- Edit Issues
I'd like to be able to create a plugin that can work with my solutions for tracking other things like startup, TAB, and Cx, which would provide a more connected view of the status of the system. To be able to use Revizto as a tool in that toolbox would be next level.

Leaping on to this aswell as it's similar.
We pull data in externally from an SQL server to Navisworks via data tools. There appears to be an issue exporting models with this data embedded in navis to Revizto. It would be great to be able to connect the database directly to Revizto and not to navis.
e.g. IFC data for piping is populated in this database. Connect the DB to Revizto will allow simple things like the home appearance profile to automatically update what is IFC in the federated model.

@..., has Revizto integration with Power BI been released yet?
From the operations standpoint, I would like to be able to see an overall usage of Revizto throughout our firm.
If I'm not missing something, I'm only able to see usage while in each project page.
Instead of going into each project page to scrape the data, it would be nice to see an overall picture of whether we are seeing more usage throughout the year or not.

Hi everyone here, good news!
The first version of Revizto public API is already available for beta test!
If you want to participate, please send your request to vdc@revizto.com. Then we will activate API access for your workspace and provide documentation and support. Revizto+ subscription is required for this feature.
I'm sorry for the lack of updates and for the inconsistent information earlier. After some research and the start of development, our team ended up moving forward with providing public API instead of developing the PowerBI integration.
At this point, our public API works with the issue tracker data but not with the model and sheet data. We plan to expand it later (no ETA yet).
Thank you all for your patience and we appreciate your feedback!
