Viewpoints - Access Levels

It would be nice to be able to have more control over the editing of custom viewpoints based on user permissions.

Currently a user either has Add/Edit rights for viewpoints or nothing. Can this be updated so that you can give them the ability to Add/Edit their own viewpoints only?
