Highlight 2D objects selected in the 3D, split screen 2D documents/ 3D model, switch option between Revit 2D documents and PDFs
It would be really great if, in addition to the 2D drawings overlay to 3D tool, we'd be able to activate a split window and see 3D and 2D aside. If 2D drawings are from the authoring tool (eg. Revit) and not simply PDFs, it would also be great to show selections in both windows: a 3D object selected on the right will highlight in blue on the left (if visible at all in the 2D drawing)
In order to further empower design teams, it would also be great an option to switch between the Revit version and the PDF version of the drawing. We normally export drawings from Revit and then overlay them with the signed and stamped PDF from Procore, so the request above would often be useless to us if we were not able to switch to the Revit version as needed (the one with the "clickable" 3D objects in 2D)
not sure if I explained myself properly...

Federico,
Split screen for 2D and 3D is on the wish list, I've added your comments.
Did you know that switchback for 2D issues too? If the sheets have been exported from Revit, even sheets that have a Docs drawing slipped overtop of the Revit sheet coordinates, will open the sheet in Revit.
Currently, when we export the 2D sheets from Revit, we are 'printing' the sheets. We are creating that 2D representation just as if you were printing a .pdf, not really viewing the 3D in a 2D view like you see in Revit. Even in Revit we can't selected an element from the sheet view, the user has to select the viewport, then active the view. I'll add it to the wishlist, but this might be a difficult to accomplish.

I did not know that, sounds cool, we'll make sure to try it out!

Yeah, I understand ;-)
