Clash Automation grouping by search set (to align with clash matrix)

Clash Automation is usually based on a Matrix, which is then transferred into clash tests which have priority values. The logical grouping method would be to be able to group by Selection set in A/B (Vs the current element/geometry)

This would open up the opportunity to use the advanced automation function to create fewer clash tests (On what i've seen, 40 ish vs 320) and make use of the advanced clash automation (If and then) to apply the priorities and who the element gets assigned to.

  Hi Robin,

  Apologies for the late response here.

  But to confirm you are correct in your logic with our clash automation tool and rules as we can achieve this workflow today.

  However I believe we must clearly describe our definition of "search sets", "selection sets", and the "element and geometry" rules as they are not exactly the same compared to other tools like Navisworks.

  Might I suggest reaching out to your regional Revizto Implementation Manager as they would be able to walk you through this and possible get you the clash and advanced automation results you are looking for.
