Ability for Project Admin to modify "Current issue" preset

    Having a "home" filter seems like a sleek option to stay uniform with the viewpoints tool. We could set the default filter for most of the project at that time and then change it as needed to other filters as the project progresses. (IE. thinking along the lines of design phase filters vs. clash filters for construction)

    The custom filter settings where created for this reason along with the ability to share them so everyone can work from the same setup.

    This maybe a silly question, but could a Shared Issue Preset be created that could be used instead of the current issues preset? Perhaps a 'Home' filter as suggested. Would the team select that filter instead of the 'reset' button?

    Setting a home reset would work fine, but the shared filter preset will be slower for users than clicking the reset button.

    I might be in custom filter when I want to "reset", therefore I need to click back to my presets, then I need to find the preset I want and click on that. The user might select the wrong preset. We want to ensure we are creating the same experience for users.

    Going by reset, just like home view (with home appearance template) will send the user back to exactly what we want them to see, but giving admin the power to define what the home reset does would be great.

    I guess it could be moved to the top for easy access;

    Yeh absolutely. However still the same process as current. Reset filter resets to current issue then user has to be trained to click on the home preset. It would be much easier to customise what people see by default. Then the user clicks reset and don't need to do anything further. We could have upwards of 400 people accessing one project at any one time, anything to simplify what we need to explain to users will be better.

    Just like appearance profile "home". We don't need to ask anyone to run an appearance profile. We set the rules and people see it by default.

    I understand, but since the functionality of custom filters accomplishes the same thing, this will be a low priority request.
