Creating and publishing issues Follow
Revizto allows you to sketch markups, take quick measurements, or write up detailed issues locally on your device before publishing them to the issue tracker with draft mode. Draft mode is available for the Revizto 5 desktop and Revizto 5 tablet application.

Required permissions
Markup and issue drafts can be done by any user with project access, as they are created and viewed locally. Publishing issues from drafts requires specific project access rights. If you are unable to view, create, or edit issues, contact your account, project, or license admin.
- To create markup drafts, convert markups into an issue or create issue drafts you need:

Accessing drafts
Drafts and draft mode can be opened in the following ways:
| Opening a sheet and sheet navigation | Opening a sheet launches it in draft mode by default. Previously active markup drafts for the sheet are automatically restored if you are in the same session, and navigating between sheets during an active session automatically remembers and reopens the last edited Markup draft on each sheet. |
| Project draft list | Clicking the Drafts button on the project toolbar will open the project draft list. Clicking any draft will open it in the corresponding environment. |
| Sheet draft list | Click the dropdown button next to the Draft mode button on the main 2D toolbar to see all drafts for the active sheet. You can select a draft to open it. |

Clicking Draft mode, located on the main toolbar, enables and disables draft mode. The button is blue when enabled and gray when disabled. Previously active markup drafts are automatically restored if you are in the same session. |

Markup drafts
Markup drafts allow you to draw and measure on a sheet without creating an issue and are available in the 2D environment. You can convert markup drafts into an issue draft by clicking Create Issue, which will bring all markups into a new issue draft. You can also convert selected Markup Drafts into a new Issue Draft by selecting Create issue from selected markups from the More menu.
To create markup drafts:

Open the sheet that you want to edit and verify Draft mode is enabled.
- The Draft mode button will be blue when enabled and gray when disabled.

Make your markups using any of the markup tools located on the Markups toolbar.

You can choose to close the draft, make more markups, create an issue with all markups, create an issue from selected markups, or delete the markup draft.
- After creating a markup the markup draft will automatically be added to both the project drafts and sheet drafts lists.
To create an issue draft from all markups:
At any time, you can create an issue or issue draft from a markup draft.
- Create, or open, a markup draft with one or more markups.

Click Create issue from the markup title bar.
- Select your stamp template or click Regular issue.
- If the Regular issue button is not available then regular issue creation is disabled in the project settings.
- If no stamp templates exist in the project, a regular issue will be created automatically and this step is skipped.
- Your new issue draft will be created with markups.
To create an issue draft with selected markups:
You can create an issue or issue draft from selected markups on a markup draft.
- Create, or open, a markup draft with one or more markups.
- Optional: select one or more markups with the Select tool.
- You can select multiple markups with Ctrl+click or holding Ctrl when you select an area.
- Click More > Create issue from selected markups from the markup action bar.
- If none or all markups are selected, Create issue from selected markups will not be available.
- If none or all markups are selected, Create issue from selected markups will not be available.
- Select your stamp template or click Regular issue.
- Your new issue draft will be created with selected markups.
Issue drafts
Issue drafts allow you to create new issues within the 2D and 3D environments on your local device and later publish them to the issue tracker. Issue drafts are only viewable on your local device, while published issues are available to view by others in the project.
You can start an issue draft in three ways:
- Directly in the 2D and 3D environments
- Converting a markup draft
- Integrated authoring tools
- Tools that can create issues in Revizto will now open draft mode automatically
These instructions are for creating issue drafts directly in the 2D or 3D environment.
To create issue drafts:
- Click 2D or 3D on the project toolbar to open the 2D or 3D environment.
- You may need to select your sheet or load your models if you're opening a new project.

Click the Create issue button (Ctrl+Shift+I) on the main toolbar.

- Select your stamp template or Regular issue in the pop-up window.
- If the Regular issue button is not available then regular issue creation is disabled in the project settings.
- If no stamp templates exist in the project, a regular issue will be created automatically and this step is skipped.
- Optionally, set the pin or stamp placement and fill the information fields on the Create issue action bar.
- Issue title

- Markups, added with the pen

tools that are located on the markup toolbar to the left. The Ruler
markup tool is only available for sheets not using a background image.
- Background image, by clicking Load image or Take photo on the Create issue toolbar. This image will be the background for all markups instead of the sheet or model.
- If Compare sheets is enabled, the comparison will be included in your issue draft and saved with the new issue. You can enable Compare sheets from the main toolbar.
- Markups, added with the pen
- Click the Save and close draft button to exit draft mode, or click Create issue to publish to the issue tracker.
- As drafts are saved automatically, you can close an existing draft at any point without losing your work.

Issue markup changes drafts
You can edit markups for published issues and create an Issue markup changes draft.
To create an issue markup changes draft
- Open the Issue tracker from the top toolbar.
- Click the issue you want to edit the markups on.
- Click Edit markup, to open the Markup editor.
- Click Save as draft to save as a new Issue markup changes draft. You can also click Apply changes to apply the edits to the issue tracker without making a draft, or Cancel to cancel all changes.
Editing drafts
You can edit, or view, existing drafts from the project drafts list or sheet draft list.
To edit drafts
- Click Drafts
located on the project toolbar.
- You can also open the sheet draft list by clicking the Draft mode dropdown. The sheet draft list exclusively shows drafts from the current sheet.
- You can also open the sheet draft list by clicking the Draft mode dropdown. The sheet draft list exclusively shows drafts from the current sheet.
- Select your draft to open and make your edits.
- You can search for a draft using the search box near the top. You can search by draft name, stamp, sheet number, or sheet name.

- Click Create issue to publish to the issue tracker, or Save and close draft to close it without publishing.
Deleting drafts
You can delete drafts individually or by type from the drafts list.
To delete individual drafts
- Click Drafts, located on the top toolbar, to open the project draft list.
- You can open the sheet draft list by clicking the dropdown near the Draft mode button.
- You can open the sheet draft list by clicking the dropdown near the Draft mode button.
- Click the Delete button for your chosen draft.
- Click Delete to confirm.
To delete multiple drafts:
- Click Drafts, located on the top toolbar, to open the project draft list.
- Click Delete by type.
- Select the draft types that you want to delete via the checkboxes.

Alerts and resolutions
Revizto will warn and notify you if the source issue has been updated or deleted, and is affecting your drafts. These alerts will show as the following in the draft lists:
This list describes how Revizto resolves possible draft conflicts:
- The sheet has been updated since the draft was made.
- The Don't show again checkbox will prevent future alerts for sheet updates.
- Ok opens the draft on the newest sheet version.
- The issue markup has been updated since the draft was made.
- View latest markup saves and closes your current draft, then opens the Issue Tracker with the updated source issue selected.
- Edit outdated draft opens or resumes your draft in the editor with the original markup state at the time your draft was created. Updated changes are not applied and applying changes will overwrite the latest published markups on the source issue.
- The issue was deleted since the draft was made, or your access has been restricted.
- Convert to new draft opens or retains the draft in an editable state as a new draft. Changes cannot be published to the original issue and the Apply changes button will be disabled.
- Delete draft removes the draft from your draft lists.
- The sheet containing the draft was deleted.
- Delete draft removes the draft from your draft lists.
- Cancel closes the Sheet not found popup without deleting the draft. If the sheet is republished to the project your draft will reconnect to the sheet and be editable.
- The stamp
- Select new stamp template allows you to choose another stamp template.
- Skip removes the stamp reference and converts it to a regular issue draft.
