Viewing project dashboards
A project dashboard contains charts that display data from a single project.
Project members can view the dashboards that they own and the dashboards that are shared with them. Project administrators can view all project dashboards.
A new project always contains a demo dashboard that belongs to the project owner. Any project administrator can edit or delete this dashboard.
To view a project dashboard:

Sign in to ws.revizto.com.

If you are a member of several licenses, ensure that the correct license is selected.

Go to Tools, and then select My Projects.

Do one of the following:

Open a project and then, on the top toolbar, click Dashboards.

Find a project and then, in the Actions column, click the Dashboards button.
If you have a single dashboard, this opens the dashboard.
If you have several dashboards, this opens the list of dashboards. For each dashboard, it displays a box that includes a dashboard name, owner, the number of people who receive reports based on the dashboard, and the report schedule.
The heart icon indicates whether the dashboard is added to the list of favorite ones.

. The dashboard is in the list of favorite ones.

. The dashboard is not in the list of favorite ones.

<no icon>. You are a license administrator but you are not a member of this project. You can view the dashboards but you cannot add them to favorites.
To filter the list of dashboards, expand the Filters block at the top and select the filter criteria.
To search for a dashboard, type a part of its name in the search field in the upper-right corner.

- To open a dashboard, click its box.
To return to the list of dashboards, at the top of the dashboard, click View all dashboards.
Viewing cross-project dashboards
A cross-project dashboard contains charts that display data from multiple projects in a single license.
License administrators can view the cross-project dashboards that they own and the cross-project dashboards shared with license administrators.
A new license always contains a demo dashboard that belongs to the super administrator. Any license administrator can edit this dashboard. The super administrator can delete it.
To view a cross-project dashboard:

Sign in to ws.revizto.com.

If you are a member of several licenses, ensure that the correct license is selected.

Go to Tools, and then select Cross-Project Dashboards.
This opens the list of dashboards. For each dashboard, it displays a box that includes a dashboard name, owner, the number of people who receive reports based on the dashboard, and the report schedule.
The heart icon indicates whether the dashboard is added to the list of favorite ones.

. The dashboard is in the list of favorite ones.

. The dashboard is not in the list of favorite ones.
To filter the list of dashboards, expand the Filters block at the top and select the filter criteria.
To search for a dashboard, type a part of its name in the search field in the upper-right corner.

Creating dashboards
You can create dashboards manually. You can also copy project dashboards by exporting them to other projects or importing them from another project.
You might want to copy dashboards in the following scenarios:
- You have a template project that you use as a source of dashboards for all your projects.
- You use a set of small projects instead of a big one to improve the performance of the Revizto application. Use the export and import to create similar dashboards in all your projects.
- Your project has several stages and each stage requires a specific set of dashboards. Use the export and import to add a new set of dashboards.

Creating project dashboards
This section describes how to create a blank project dashboard and configure its settings.

To create a project dashboard:

Click New dashboard.

Enter the dashboard name and select its color.
You can use colors to mark related dashboards. For example, pick a color for dashboards with mechanical issues, another color for electrical issues, and so on.

If you want to apply a dashboard preset, select it in the Dashboard preset field.
If the field is unavailable, there are no dashboard presets.

In the Privacy field, select the scope of issues that will contribute to the dashboard.

In the Sharing field, specify who can view the dashboard.
Project administrators can view project dashboards that were not explicitly shared with them.

Click Save.
Exporting project dashboards
Any project member can export the project dashboards that they own and the project dashboards that are shared with them to other projects shared with them in the same license. License administrators can export project dashboards to any project in the license.
To export a dashboard:
- Open the list of project dashboards and find the dashboard.
- Do one of the following:

In the upper-right corner of the dashboard box, click Actions, and then click Export dashboard.

Open any dashboard and then, at the top, click Export dashboard.

- Select destination projects.
-
Edit the dashboard name, color, privacy, and sharing settings.
This will affect only the destination dashboards. If the resulting dashboard name is not unique within the project, Revizto adds a number to the name.

To include dashboard delivery settings, select the Schedule delivery checkbox.
You can review and edit these settings after exporting the dashboard.

Click Next.

Select charts and click Export.

Review the resulting dashboards and charts and correct them if needed.
The dashboards retain the current owner, even if this person is not a member of the destination project.
Importing project dashboards
Any project member can import the project dashboards that they own and the project dashboards that are shared with them from other projects shared with them in the same license. License administrators can import project dashboards from any project in the license.
To import dashboards:

In the destination project, open the list of dashboards.

At the top, click Import dashboard.

Select a source project and click Next.

Select a dashboard and click Next.

Edit the dashboard name, color, privacy, and sharing settings.
This will affect only the destination dashboard. If the dashboard name is not unique in the destination project, Revizto adds a number to the name.

To include dashboard delivery settings, select the Schedule delivery checkbox.
You can review and edit these settings after importing the dashboard.

Click Next.

Select charts and click Import.

Review the resulting dashboards and charts and correct their settings if needed.
The dashboards retain the current owner, even if this person is not a member of the destination project.
Creating cross-project dashboards
License administrators can create cross-project dashboards and share them with other license administrators. This section describes how to create a blank cross-project dashboard and configure its settings.

Managing favorite dashboards
Favorite dashboards are always displayed at the top of the dashboard list.
Project members can add dashboards to favorites and remove them from favorites. License administrators that are not project members can view the dashboards but cannot add them to favorites.
To add or remove a dashboard from favorites:

Open the list of dashboards and find the dashboard.

Do one of the following:

To add the dashboard to favorites, in the upper-right corner of the dashboard box, click Add to favorites .

To remove a dashboard from favorites, in the upper-right corner of the dashboard box, click Remove from favorites .

Deleting dashboards
Any project member can delete the project dashboards that they own. Project administrators can delete all project dashboards. License administrators can delete cross-project dashboards that they created and cross-project dashboards that are shared with them.
To delete a dashboard:

Open the list of dashboards and find the dashboard.

In the upper-right corner of the dashboard box, click Actions, and then click Delete.

Open the dashboard and then, at the top, click Configure. Then click Delete.
