Signing in using single sign-on authentication Follow
This article is intended for license administrators. It describes how to sign in to Revizto Workspace or to the Revizto application using single sign-on authentication.

Single sign-on authentication (recommended workflow)
When a license administrator configures single sign-on authentication for a user, the user gets an email with authentication instructions. The instructions are based on the following workflow:

A user signs in with their email address and Revizto password.
If the user does not remember their password, they can click Forgot password to restore it.

The user is prompted to pass single sign-on authentication.

The user wants to open a project. To proceed, they must click the Authenticate button in the upper-right corner of the project gallery.

The user attempts to create a "Cloud" or "Shared location" project. To proceed, they must click .

The user attempts to import settings from a project. To proceed, they must click .
Single sign-on authentication without Revizto password
This workflow includes only authentication at the identity provider, without entering the Revizto password. It is not recommended because it requires entering additional data that a user might not remember.

To sign in to Revizto Workspace or to the Revizto application, a user must perform the following steps:

Open ws.revizto.com and then, on the sign-in screen, switch to the single sign-on option.

Select the license region and complete the following fields:
Field Source Authentication service The SSO provider. Entity ID (for SAML authentication service) In Revizto Workspace, open the list of authentication methods, and then click next to the method name. It is the Entity ID value. -
Click Next.

Enter the username and password required by the single sign-on authentication service.
Single sign-on authentication without Revizto password (Revizto application)
To sign in to Revizto Workspace or to the Revizto application, a user must perform the following steps:

Open the Revizto application and then, on the sign-in screen, switch to the single sign-on option.

Select the license region and then click Sign in with SSO.
This will redirect the user to Revizto Workspace.

Complete the following fields:
Field Source Authentication service The SSO provider. Entity ID (for SAML authentication service) In Revizto Workspace, open the list of authentication methods, and then click next to the method name. It is the Entity ID value. -
Click Next.

Enter the credentials required by the single sign-on authentication service.
Single sign-on authentication to several licenses
If a user is a member of several licenses, license administrators configure their authentication in each license separately. The user gets several emails, each describing how to sign in to a single license.
To start their work with Revizto Workspace or the Revizto application, a user can sign in to any of the available licenses. This grants them access to the content covered by this license. When they attempt to access the content covered by another license, they are prompted to sign in to that license.

- The Revizto application prompts to sign in to another license in the following scenarios:

A user has projects in another license. To proceed, they must click the Authenticate button in the upper-right corner.

A user attempts to create a "Cloud" or "Shared location" project in another license. To proceed, they must click .

A user attempts to import settings from a project assigned to another license. To proceed, they must click .
- A user attempts to export settings to a project assigned to another license. To proceed, they must click .
