Guide to accounts, licenses, and projects Follow
In May 2026, Revizto introduced organization accounts for centralized license management. Previously, Revizto projects were hosted under individual licenses, and users often managed multiple independent licenses, making it difficult to track projects across a single company or client. Now, with accounts, projects are still hosted in licenses, but licenses will be organized under accounts. This allows for full visibility into all licenses and projects managed by a single organization and streamlines user administration, including SSO configuration and user management across the account.
Accounts are limited to licenses within the same Revizto server region. Organizations with licenses in multiple regions will have separate accounts per region. Cross-region account consolidation is not currently supported.
During the initial rollout of accounts, each existing Revizto license will be automatically linked to its own individual account. You will need to manually transfer licenses into your organization's primary account by following the process described in Transferring licenses between accounts.
You can find all the tools to manage your organization accounts, licenses, and projects in Revizto Workspace. Depending on your roles in the account, license, and project, the relevant administration tools, such as User management (account-wide), License administration, and Project administration, will be found in the Tools dropdown menu under Management tools.
The following sections provide an introduction to accounts and the enhanced tools and pages found in Revizto Workspace.
- Roles in the account
- Account details
- User-management (account-wide)
- License administration
- Project administration
Roles in the account
An account role is a set of access rights granted to a Revizto account member. A user's role determines the tasks they can perform in the account. There are three predetermined account roles:
- Account owner: Grants full control over an account, including its licenses and projects. Each account has a single account owner.
- Account admin: Grants full control over an account, including its licenses and projects, except for changing the account owner or deleting the account.
- Standard user: Does not grant any account-level rights. Standard user rights are determined by their license and project roles.
Users with account owner or account admin roles will automatically be assigned the account admin (license role) in all account licenses which grants the same access rights in the license as the super administrator.

Account details
All account members can see essential account information from Account details or Manage account details (depending on your account role).
Standard users can see the account name and ID, their role in the account, and the account admins and their contact information in Account details, however they cannot edit any information.
Account owners and admins, meanwhile, can manage account settings and data and see additional account information in Manage account details, including IT security and billing contacts, the company email domains associated with the account, and key activity highlights and user information (number of users, active licenses, and active projects in the account).
To access account details:
- Sign in to ws.revizto.com.
- If you are a member of several accounts, ensure that the correct account is selected.
-
Open the Tools dropdown menu, then select either Account details or Manage account details. The available option depends on your role in the account.
User management (account-wide)
The User management (account-wide) tool is the central hub for managing all users in the account. Account owners and admins can view, add, and edit users, configure authentication methods, and edit additional fields from a centralized location.
To access user management:
- Sign in to ws.revizto.com.
- If you are a member of several accounts, ensure that the correct account is selected.
-
Open the Tools dropdown menu, then select User management (account-wide) under Management tools.
If User management (account-wide) isn't available, you are not an account owner or admin.
The User management (account-wide) section is organized by the following tabs:
- Account users: Add, edit, remove, or view users in the account.
- Waiting for approval: Approve or reject users who did not automatically receive an authentication method and are pending access to the account.
- Authentication methods: Add and manage authentication methods for the account.
- Additional fields: Add, edit, and manage Company, Department, and Location user fields for the account.
- Import users: Batch import users directly into the account from spreadsheets.

License administration
The License administration page connects account owners, account admins, and license administrators to the licenses they manage in the account. Here, account owners and admins can see all licenses in the account, while license administrators will only see the licenses they are an administrator of.
To access license administration:
- Sign in to ws.revizto.com.
- If you are a member of several accounts, ensure that the correct account is selected.
-
Open the Tools dropdown menu, then select License administration under Management tools.
If License administration isn't available, you are not an account owner or admin or a license administrator.
On the License administration page is a table showing each license you have administrator access to, with some essential info such a license name, type of license (project-based or user-based) and the license's super administrator. Licenses can be searched, filtered, and exported from this page.
Clicking a license's name will take you to its License info page where license administrators can further manage the license directly, including managing projects and users, handle dashboards, and monitor user activity in the license.

Project administration
The Project administration page connects account owners, account admins, license administrators, and project administrators to the projects they manage in the account.
The visibility of projects here is determined by the user's role and ownership in a project:
- Account owner/admin: Can see all projects in the account.
- License administrator: Can see all projects from the licenses they administer.
- Project owner: Can see all projects they own.
- Project administrator (non-owner): Can only see the projects where they are an administrator if the project status is Active.
Users who are not project administrators will have access to the Project administration page, but will not be able to see any projects. This page only shows projects where the user is an administrator or above.
To access project administration:
- Sign in to ws.revizto.com.
- If you are a member of several accounts, ensure that the correct account is selected.
-
Open the Tools dropdown menu, then select Project administration under Management tools.
If you do not see any projects you are part of in Project administration, you do not have administrator rights in those projects.
On the Project administration page is a table showing each project you have administrator access to, sorted automatically by status (Active, Suspended, Archived) then project name. The table also includes essential project information, including the project's license, the project owner, and the hosting type (cloud or shared location).
Because local projects are local to their computer, they cannot be viewed or managed from Revizto Workspace.
From here, users with the right permissions can create new projects, export project information to Microsoft Excel, edit project tags, and archive, restore, or delete projects. For more information on project administration, check out the following articles:
- Creating projects
- Editing projects > Editing project tags
- Archiving, restoring, and deleting projects
Clicking a project title will take the user to the Project info page where project administrators can further manage the project team and access key project features such as the Issue tracker, Issue workflows, Automations, and the Scheduler.
