Configuring authentication parameters for existing license members Follow
License administrators can edit the authentication parameters of any license member, except for themselves and the super administrator of the license. The super administrator can edit the authentication parameters of any license member, including themselves.
Editing a license member’s authentication parameters includes assigning an authentication method. For license members with Active Directory authentication, this also includes configuring their usernames in the Active Directory domain.
For details, see the following sections:
- Assigning authentication methods to license members
- Configuring domain usernames for license members with Active Directory authentication
- Troubleshooting
When you assign an SSO authentication method to a license member, they get an email that describes how to sign in.

Assigning authentication methods to license members
If several authentication methods are configured in a license, license administrators can assign authentication methods to any license member, except for themselves and the super administrator of the license. The super administrator can assign authentication methods to any license member, including themselves.
For details, see the following sections:
- Assigning authentication methods (single license member)
- Assigning authentication methods (multiple license members)

Configuring domain usernames for license members with Active Directory authentication
For license members with Active Directory authentication, you have to provide their usernames in the Active Directory domain. License members with blank usernames have "Suspended" status, and they cannot sign in.
To configure the domain username for a user with Active Directory authentication:
-
Sign in to ws.revizto.com.
-
If you are a member of several licenses, ensure that the correct license is selected.
-
Go to License Management Tools, and then select User Management.
- In the Name column, find the suspended license member, and then move the pointer over the question mark in the "Status" column.
This displays the suspension reason. If the license member is suspended because their domain username is blank, proceed to the next step.
If the suspension reason is different, see Recovering suspended license members.
- Click the license member name.
-
Click the Edit button next to the Domain username field, enter the license member’s username in the Active Directory domain, and then click Set.
The license member gets an email message that describes how to sign in.
Troubleshooting
Q: A super administrator of a license cannot sign in because their authentication settings are invalid.
A: As regular license administrators cannot change the authentication settings of the super administrator, the only way to correct this is to submit a support request.
