To install the Revizto application:
-
If you want to publish data from supported authoring tools to Revizto on this computer, ensure that the authoring tools are installed.
-
Download the Revizto application.
-
Run the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions.
Revizto installer prompts you to choose from the following options:
-
Everybody (all users).
This requires Administrator rights. This is the recommended option.
-
Only for me.
This does not require Administrator rights. However, the installer will request Administrator rights during the first installation to configure the Revizto certificate. Autodesk products require this certificate to accept Revizto as a trusted publisher. If you ignore the request, the installer will skip configuring the certificate.
If you want to install plug-ins for Tekla Structures or MicroStation CONNECT, do not choose this option. The installer will not have enough rights to write to Tekla Structures or MicroStation folders.

Troubleshooting
Q: "Access to the path denied" or "The specified account already exists" error when trying to uninstall or update Revizto.
A: This is a Microsoft Windows issue. You will need a free Microsoft utility to solve it.
- Download and run Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter.
- Select Uninstalling and then select Revizto4 or Revizto5.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall Revizto.
- Restart your computer.
- Install the new Revizto version.
Q: "The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file" error when updating Revizto.
A: This is usually related to a conflict between the new and the old Revizto libraries. The installer does not have the right to completely remove the old library.
This can happen if the previous Revizto version was installed with Administrator rights, and now you are trying to install Revizto without Administrator rights, or the previous Revizto version was installed by another user.
To solve the problem, fully remove Revizto using the Control Panel, and ensure that the installation folder (which is usually "C:\Program Files\Revizto SA") is fully removed. Then install the new Revizto version.
If this does not help, send the error screenshot and the installation log file to service@revizto.com. You can get thе log by running the installer with the following parameters:
"C:\<path to the installer>\Revizto(x64)-5.X.XXXXX.msi" /L*V "C:\<path to the resulting log>\ReviztoInstall.log"
Q: The Revizto plug-in for Tekla Structures did not install automatically.
A: This might have the following reasons:
-
The Revizto installer did not have enough rights to install the plug-in.
Uninstall Revizto, and then install it using an account with Administrator rights. During the installation, select the Everybody (all users) option.
-
Tekla Structures is not installed properly.
Ensure that both Tekla Structures and the required environment are installed on your computer, and then reinstall Revizto.
Q: The Revizto plug-in for a Bentley CONNECT Edition product did not install automatically.
A: The Revizto installer did not have enough rights to install the plug-in. Do one of the following:
- Uninstall Revizto, and then install it using an account with Administrator rights. During the installation, select the Everybody (all users) option.
- Install the plug-in manually. See Installing Revizto plug-in for Bentley products.
Q: During the installation of Revizto on a Mac computer, I receive the following error: “Warning 4154. .NET 6.0 Desktop Runtime (<version number>) - Windows x64 Installer prerequisite was not correctly installed. Continue installation of Revizto 5?”
A: This error occurs when you install Revizto on a Mac computer using an application of Parallels family.
Revizto has not been tested for compatibility with Parallels applications. The installation can proceed, but please be aware that it's not officially supported.
To continue the installation, click Yes.
