Revizto users that have sufficient rights can import models from files. This feature is available only on PC.

Supported file formats

Revizto supports importing models from files that have the following formats:

• Autodesk Filmbox (.fbx)
• Industry Foundation Classes (.ifc)
• Wavefront OBJ (.obj)
• AVEVA PDMS (.rvm)
• Point cloud: ReCap, Faro, and LAS (.rcp, .rcs, .fls, .fws, .lsproj, .laz, .las)
• 12d Model (.12dxml)

Revizto supports the following IFC specifications:

• IFC2×3 TC1 files (including earlier versions like IFC 20LF and IFC2×2)
• IFC 4 Add2 TC1
• IFC 4.1
• IFC 4.2
• IFC 4.3

Revizto does not support import from compressed IFC files (*.ifczip).

Importing models from files

To import models from files:

1. In the Revizto application, open a project.

2. At the top of the window, go to Project > Import.

3. Select files and click Open.

4. For each file, select whether you want to append it as a new model or update an existing model of this type, and then click OK.

   If your project does not contain any models, Revizto skips this step.

5. Specify the import settings and click OK.

   The assortment of settings depends on the file type. If you select multiple non-IFC files, Revizto skips this step and imports the models with the default settings.

6. Wait until the import is completed.
