Publishing from Revit: duplicate sheets Follow
This article is applicable to Revizto version 5.9 or earlier.
Problem
When I publish updated sheets or sheet coordinates from Revit, duplicate sheets appear in Revizto.
Reason
The first publishing was performed with "Merge similar sheets from different files" option turned off. Then one or both of the following parameters have changed:
- Source .rvt file name.
- "Merge similar sheets from different files" option.
As a result, Revizto cannot map the updated sheets. It publishes them as new ones. This usually happens when updated sheets are published from a different computer.
Solution
Method 1 (recommended)
Update Revizto to version 5.10 or later. Then review the sheet mapping settings and publish the sheets.
Method 2 (Revizto 5.9 or earlier)
To correct the problem:
-
Delete all affected sheets from Revizto.
-
Publish the sheets as new ones with appropriate settings.
We recommend that you publish them with the Merge similar sheets from different files checkbox selected, except for the cases when different sheets overwrite each other.
Method 3 (Revizto 5.9 or earlier)
To correct the problem:
-
Delete the duplicates.
-
If any .rvt file names have changed, revert to the original names.
-
Re-publish the sheets with the Merge similar sheets from different files checkbox cleared.
