Sheet overlay is misaligned after importing sheets created in Revit Follow
Problem
I have a sheet that was created in Revit. After exporting it to Revizto, either directly or through the import from a PDF file or a CDE document, the sheet overlay is misaligned.
Reason
This can have the following reasons:
- You exported a new sheet version with a different PDF printer settings.
- The sheet includes objects that overlap the sheet margins.
Solution
Try the following:
-
Check the settings of the PDF printer that you use to generate sheets from Revit, and correct them if needed. Then export the sheet from Revit to Revizto, either directly or through the import from a PDF file or a CDE document.
The recommended settings include paper size that matches the Revit title block, no margin placement, and a 100% scale.
-
In Revit, look for elements that are outside of your sheet’s title block.
Note that even invisible element parts outside of the title block can cause problems. These parts become visible when you select them (see the figure below).
If you find any elements that are outside of the title block, do the following:
-
Edit the elements to fit the title block, and then apply the change to all affected sheets.
-
Export the sheet from Revit to Revizto (or export just the sheet coordinates).
