Activating, deactivating, and deleting license members Follow
A license administrator can deactivate a license member. Deactivated members cannot access projects and other data associated with the license. They do not occupy license slots.
We recommend that you deactivate license members instead of deleting them from a license because this preserves their access rights and settings and you can activate them back at any time.
Deactivating license members
A license administrator can deactivate any license member, except for themselves and the super administrator of the license. Deactivated members do not occupy license slots.
We recommend that you deactivate license members who completed their work on all projects.
When you deactivate a license member, Revizto performs the following actions:
-
Sends the license member an email notification that they are removed from the license.
-
In each project shared with the license member in this license:
-
If the license member is a project owner:
-
Transfers project ownership to the super administrator of the license.
-
-
If the license member is a report owner:
-
Changes the visibility of their reports to "Public issues". This removes private issues from the report, leaving only public issues.
-
Transfers ownership of their reports to the project owner.
-
Adds their email address to the report name.
Example: "New issues (by name@example.com)".
-
- Removes the license member from the list of project members.
-
Force relinquishes the clash tests that are checked out by the license member. This discards any unsaved changes.
-
Replaces the license member’s name in the issues, clash tests, reports, dashboards, and charts with their email address.
-
Suspends the license member’s email notifications.
-
-
If the license member is an owner of cross-project dashboards:
-
Transfers their dashboards that are shared with others to the super administrator.
-
Deletes their dashboards that are not shared with others.
-
-
In other licenses issued in this region:
-
If the current license allows cross-license collaboration for the user's company, revokes the right to be a guest in other licenses from this user (this right might still be granted by other licenses). Guests that do not have this right are suspended.
-
While a license member is deactivated:
-
The license member cannot sign in to this license in Revizto Workspace or in the Revizto application.
-
In each project shared with the license member in this license:
-
The license member does not receive any email notifications.
-
-
In other licenses:
-
If this person is an active member of other licenses, they can access projects and other data associated with these licenses.
-
A license administrator can activate a deactivated license member at any time. When a license member is activated, they instantly gain access to their projects. For more information, see Activating license members.

Activating license members
A license administrator can activate a deactivated license member. If the license member role is Administrator, Content creator, or Collaborator, this requires an available license slot.
When you activate a license member, Revizto performs the following actions:
-
Sends the license member an email notification that they are added to the license.
-
In each project that was shared with the license member in this license:
-
If the license member’s project role was not deleted, returns the license member to the project team with that role and restores the license member’s clash test roles.
-
Replaces the license member’s email address in the issues, clash tests, reports, dashboards, and charts with their name.
-
Resumes the license member’s email notifications.
-
In other licenses issued in this region:
- If the current license allows cross-license collaboration for the user's company, grants the right to be a guest in other licenses to this user. If they were suspended due to the lack of this right, makes them an active member.

Deleting license members
A license administrator can delete any license member, except for themselves and the super administrator of the license. The deletion is permanent.
We recommend that you delete license members only when you are sure that they won’t return to any of the projects in this license. In all other cases, deactivate license members instead of deleting them. For more information, see Deactivating license members.
When you delete a license member, Revizto performs the following actions:
-
Sends the license member an email notification that they are removed from the license.
-
In each project shared with the license member in this license:
-
If the license member is a project owner:
