Clash test access rights Follow
User rights in each clash test are determined by their role in that test.
There are also several project-wide access rights related to clash automation. For more information, see "Project access rights," section Clash automation.
Clash test roles
The following table summarizes all available clash test roles.
Clash test role | Description | Dependencies |
Project administrator |
Grants full access to the clash test, including the right to create issues from clash test results. Grants the right to change clash test roles for users that are not project administrators and do not have the Clash administrator access right. |
This role is granted to all project administrators. |
Clash administrator |
Grants full access to the clash test, including the right to create issues from clash test results. Grants the right to change clash test roles for users that are not project administrators and do not have the Clash administrator access right. |
This role is granted to project members that aren't project administrators but have the "Clash administrator" access right. |
Test administrator |
Grants full access to the clash test, including the right to create issues from clash test results. Grants the right to change clash test roles for users that are not project administrators and do not have the Clash administrator access right. |
This role is granted to the clash test creator. |
Clash results editor |
Grants the rights to view the clash test, run the clash test, and edit the clash test results. Does not grant the right to create issues from clash test results. |

No rights |
No rights to view, edit, or run the clash test. A user with this clash test role might have the permission to view the clash test from the View all public clash tests access right. |
Troubleshooting
Q: I have the "Test administrator" role in a clash test but I cannot revoke the "Test administrator" role from another user.
A: You can revoke this role only when both of the following conditions are met:
- You have the Clash administrator project access right.
- The user does not have the "Clash administrator" project access right.
