Importing sheets from CDE documents Follow
If a project is integrated with one or several Common Data Environments (CDEs), Revizto users that have sufficient rights can import sheets from the cloud to a Revizto project.
Only single-page PDF documents can be imported as sheets. If more pages are added to the document after the import, Revizto always reads the first page and ignores the rest.

Revizto automatically gets updates of imported sheets from the CDE.

- To prevent the updates of CDE sheets, detach the sheets from the CDE.
Importing multiple sheets from CDE documents
Revizto users with the "Add new sheets" right can import sheets from CDE documents to a Revizto project. If a sheet being imported is a new version of a sheet imported by another project member, this requires the "Manage all sheets" right.
To import CDE sheets:
-
In the Revizto application, open a project.
-
Do one of the following:
Method 1 Method 2 -
At the top of the application window, click 2D.
-
Select a destination folder.
-
Click Import file and select Document.

-

If you are not signed in to the CDE, Revizto will prompt you to enter your username and password.
-
At the top of the application window, click Docs.
This opens a list of CDE folders.

-
In the upper-right corner, click Done.
-
Wait until Revizto downloads the documents, and then click OK.
Revizto maps the pages to existing sheets and opens the preview. It performs the following steps:
-
Applies the last used naming pattern.
-
If numbers of any pages are identical (this can happen if you import files with identical numbers from different folders), adds a space and a number to one of the page numbers to make it unique.
For example, if three pages have the same number "MySheet01", their numbers are changed to "MySheet01 1", "MySheet01 2", and "MySheet01 3".
-
Maps the pages to existing sheets.
You can select a different naming pattern. If you do, Revizto reapplies the mapping.
-
-
Review the pages before importing them. You can do any of the following:
- To enlarge a sheet preview, click it.
-
To edit a page number and name, click Edit, enter the number and name, and click Ok. If you enter a duplicate page number, Revizto adds a digit to make it unique.
-
To rotate a page, click Rotate.
-
To add a mapping, click Connect, select a sheet, and then click Select.
-
To remove a mapping, click Disconnect.
-
To remove a page, click .
- In the upper-right corner, click Done and wait until the import is completed.
The destination folder depends on the method that you selected in step 2.
-
In method 1, it is the folder that you selected.
-
In method 2, it is the CDE folder under the root folder.
When importing mapped sheets, Revizto updates their names. However, if the new name is blank and the old one is not, Revizto keeps the old name.
After the sheets are imported, their dates are set to "Pending". When you sync your project, they change to the sync date.
