Viewing sheets Follow
Sheets and other documents can be found in the 2D environment of Revizto. You can view current and past versions of sheets, their markups, issues, and export updated sheets when needed.
You can compare sheets through the 2D sheet viewer, use a 2D|3D split view to view sheets and models side by side, and even overlay sheets onto your models using a 3D overlay.
Required permissions
Users require project access rights to view sheets. If you are unable to view sheets your project role does not have the required rights or permissions, or the sheet was not shared with you.
You can view your access rights in the Project Team tab in Revizto workspace by clicking View project role or Set project role next to your role name. See Managing project roles for more information.

Accessing sheets
You can access sheets within the 2D environment of Revizto. Sheets can be organized into folders and are sorted alphanumerically by sheet number by default. Custom sorting can be applied as shown in Sorting sheets. You can apply filters or search for a sheet directly to quickly navigate to desired drawings.
To access sheets in Revizto 5:
- Click 2D on the top toolbar to open the 2D environment.
- If a sheet is already open, click sheet gallery
.
- If a sheet is already open, click sheet gallery
- Click the desired folder to view available sheets. You can open the Folder tree by clicking Folder tree
.
- Click the sheet number to open the corresponding sheet. Sheets can be displayed in a List view
, or Tile view
.
To access sheets on Revizto Site:
- Tap 2D on the bottom toolbar to open the 2D environment.
- Tap to open the desired folder.
- Tap to open the desired sheet.
- To return to the sheet gallery, tap sheet gallery
located in the top left corner.
Viewing the sheet gallery
The 2D environment of Revizto 5 is organized with filters and 2D search located near the top, the Folder tree on the left, Sheet gallery in the middle, and Info panel on the right.
The Folder tree allows you to quickly navigate between folders and can be toggled by clicking the Folder tree icon . The Info panel provides sheet details and version history for the currently selected sheet. The Info panel can be toggled by clicking the Info icon

Sheet gallery columns
The sheet gallery columns can be clicked to sort your sheets. Clicking a column cycles the sort through descending, ascending, then off. Columns can be added, removed, and positioned by clicking Show/hide columns .
The sheet gallery uses the following default columns:

| Sheet number or folder name | The parsed sheet number, or name of a created folder. See Importing sheets from PDF documents for naming pattern formats. This column includes a sheet icon for the sheet source. The following sources are available: |
| Sheet title | The parsed sheet title. |
| Date | Date of last sync, or last modified from CDE. If you have local changes, this will show as Pending. |
| Revision | The parsed sheet revision. This matches the sheet revision in Revit when imported from Revit. |
| Total issues |
The number of issues visible to you with Open, In progress, or Solved status on the sheet. This does not include issues projected to the sheet. |
| My issues | The number of issues you reported attached to the sheet. |
| Overlay |
Indicates if a sheet has one or multiple overlays. Clicking the overlay icon will overlay the sheet onto the 3D model. If multiple overlays are available, the sheet will open where you can choose which overlay to apply.

Sheet gallery filters
You can apply multiple filters to quickly see relevant 2D sheets. Clicking Filters at the top right will show and hide the filter bar.
To apply a filter:
- In the 2D environment, select a filter at the top to open available options for that filter. In this example we clicked Overlays.
- (Optional) To limit results to sheets in a specific folder, open or select the folder in the Folder tree.
- Click the option you want to apply, and sheets will automatically be filtered to match.
To add additional filter options:
- Click the + Add filter button located at the end of available filters.
- Click the filters you want to add. Added filters are indicated by a filled checkbox.
Filter options are applied for your current session and reset when restarting Revizto.
Sheet gallery search
The sheet gallery search works in two ways; you can search sheets by title and sheet number, or search by sheet contents. Searching is limited to sheets within your currently selected folder, to search all sheets click All sheets within the Folder tree.
The default search returns sheets or folders with matching text in either the sheet number or title fields.
Enabling the Search sheet contents checkbox only returns sheets that contain your matching search term. When you open a sheet Revizto will highlight the matching text, as shown below.
Viewing sheets
Revizto’s 2D environment gives you multiple tools for viewing and interacting with individual 2D sheets.
Sheet details
You can view sheet details and metadata for your selected sheets through the Info panel, which can be toggled by clicking Info .
The Details tab contains a sheet preview image, number, title, date, revision, total issues, tags, author, last updated by, last synced, path, source file name, and the internal ID.
You can also see a lot of this information in the List view of the sheet gallery by using the sheet gallery columns.
When multiple sheets are selected, data fields with multiple values will show <multiple values>, and no sheet preview image will be displayed.
Sheet versions
You can view sheet versions for a selected sheet by clicking the Versions tab in the Info panel.

The source of the sheet. This can contain multiple icons depending on the source and CDE used.

| Date/Time | The date and time the sheet was modified. |
| Author | The Revizto user that imported the sheet version, or the CDE user that updated the CDE document. |
Sheet elements
Sheets can contain the following elements and markups:

Issue stamp pin. The border and text color matches the issue property color. The dot color matches the issue status color. The status is available in the Pins view. It is not available in the Markups view. Click the pin to select the issue in the issue tracker in Markup view. Double-click the pin to bring you to the issue in 3D view. |

2D issue pin. Click the pin to select the issue in the issue tracker. Double-click the pin to bring you to the issue in 3D view. |

3D issue pin. Click the pin to select the issue in the issue tracker. Double-click the pin to bring you to the issue in 3D view. |

Clash issue pin. This includes Navisworks clash issues as well. Click the pin to select the issue in the issue tracker. Double-click the pin to bring you to the issue in 3D view. |

Clash issue stamp. The border color comes from the "Color" issue property. The issue status color matches the color of the dot. The status is visible in the Pins view. It is not visible in the Markups view. Click the pin to select the issue in the issue tracker. Double-click the pin to bring you to the issue in 3D view. |

When several issues are close together they form an issue cluster. The number indicates the total number of issues in the cluster. The border colors refer to issue statuses. Click a cluster to open all its issues in the issue tracker and hide all other issues from the sheet. Zoom in to view individual pins. |

Issue markups. Click a markup to open the issue in the issue tracker. |
|
|
Links to other sheets are highlighted in blue. Clicking the link will open the connected sheet. Links are not available when viewing markups. The number at the top is the viewport number. The text at the bottom is the sheet number. |

3D overlay. Opens the linked 3D model with the sheet aligned and overlaying the model. |
Sheet toolbars
The top toolbar contains the following icons and tools:

| Return to gallery: navigates you back to the Sheet gallery page. | |

| Import file: Allows you to import a new sheet from either [a file] or [CDE]. | |

| Create issue: Creates a new issue on the sheet. | |
| Stamp placement mode: Opens stamp placement mode to add stamps to your sheet. | |
| Ruler: Opens the ruler tool. | |
| Jump to 3D: Brings you to the sheet viewpoint in your 3D model. | |

Jump to 3D with overlay: Brings you to the sheet viewpoint in the 3D model, with the 2D sheet overlaying the view. This requires the sheet to have a 3D overlay. |

| Set up 3D overlay: Begins the 3D overlay creation process. |
The second toolbar contains the following icons and tools:

| Go back to: Navigates to the previous sheet in the viewing history. The button uses the sheet number text. | |
| Go forward to: Navigates to the next sheet in the viewing history. The button uses the sheet number text. | |
| Magnification buttons: Increases, fits to window, or decreases sheet view magnification. You can also use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out on a 2D sheet. | |
| Open issue tracker: Opens the issue tracker for the sheet. The first number is the number of open issues created on the sheet, and the second number is the number of open issues visible on the sheet. | |
| Navigation arrows: Navigates to previous or next sheet in the sheet gallery list. |
The bottom toolbar contains the following icons and tools:

Halftone mode: Toggle sheet contrast to improve markup visibility. |

Show/hide issue IDs: Toggles issue IDs being visible. |

|
Show pins: Show issue pins that match the current issue tracker filter, and hide issue markups. |

Show markups: Show markups of the issues created on the sheet, and hide the pins of projected issues. |
|
|
Show nothing: Hides both pins and markups. |
|
|
Cluster radius slider: The minimum distance between the issue pins. If the distance is less than this value, the issues are combined into a cluster. |
|
|
View logs: displays the log messages for the 2D sheet. |
The version history toolbar is displayed instead of the regular top toolbar when opening a previous version of a 2D sheet.

Troubleshooting
Q: Some of the sheet issues or markups are not displayed on the sheet.
A: Filters set in the issue tracker also apply to sheets. Go to the issue tracker and clear any filters.
Q: Matching sheets are not displayed in search results when using Search sheet contents.
A: The missing sheets are not indexed. Revizto will display a warning when you use the 2D Gallery search. Clicking Index sheets from the warning window will fix the issue.
