Project administrator access rights Follow
A project administrator is a license administrator, a project owner, or a person that has a project role with the "Administrative rights" access right selected.
Project administrators have full access to the project. However, some actions are unavailable to people with the "Administrative rights" access right but available to project owners or license administrators.
- "Administrative rights" access rights
- Project owner access rights
- License administrator (project role) access rights
To learn about the access rights granted by other project roles, see the following article:
"Administrative rights" access rights
Project members with the "Administrative rights" access right automatically get all other access rights available in the project. For more information, see Project access rights.
Project members with the "Administrative rights" access right automatically get the "Clash test administrator" role in all clash tests. For more information, see Clash test access rights.
Project members with the "Administrative rights" access right can also do the following:
- Edit project title, abbreviation, thumbnail, and home viewpoint.
- Edit project levels, grids, and zones.
- View all private issues.
- Assign project roles to project members (except for the project owner, license administrators, and themselves).
- Add license members to the project and remove project members (except for the project owner).
- Manage reports and dashboards created by other project members.
- Manage dashboard presets.
- Send bulk emails to project members.
- View the project log and the project activity chart, and export this data to spreadsheets.
- Disable creation of regular issues.
- Edit issue abbreviations.
- Manage model presets.
- Connect and disconnect the project to or from Procore, allow and prohibit elevating issues to Procore RFIs, and detach issues from Procore RFIs.
- Connect and disconnect the project to or from Box, connect Box folders to Revizto, and detach Box folders from Revizto.
- Connect and disconnect the project to or from BIM 360.
Users that have both the "Administrative rights" access right and the Content creator, Administrator, or Super administrator license role can also do the following:
- Add people who are not license members to the project.
- Migrate Revizto 4 projects to Revizto 5.
Project owner access rights
"Project owner" is a special project role. Unlike other roles, it cannot be assigned directly.
The project creator becomes its first owner. A project owner can transfer ownership to another person. If a project owner is deactivated or removed from a license, the license owner becomes the new project owner.
Project owners have the same rights as people with the "Administrative rights" access right. They can also do the following:
- Archive, restore, or delete projects.
- View archived projects in the Revizto application.
A project owner cannot leave the project. Before they leave, they have to transfer ownership to another person.
License administrator (project role) access rights
"License administrator" is a special project role. Unlike other roles, it cannot be assigned directly. All license administrators get this role in all projects assigned to the license.
License administrators have the same rights as people with the "Administrative rights" access right. They can also do the following:
- Edit project roles.
- Archive, restore, or delete projects.
- Add people who are not license members to the project.
If a license administrator is not a project member, they do not see the project in the Revizto application. However, they can do the following in Revizto Workspace:
- Open any project assigned to the license.
- Perform actions available to project administrators in any project assigned to the license.
- Add themselves to any project assigned to in the license.
